Company ADAMEC, Ltd., established in 1989 nowadays a prominent producer of the lifting systems in the Czech republic.

Establishment of the Company
The company ADAMEC was established immediately after the velvet revolution in 1989 as a natural person. Its manufacture linked up with the good tradition and long-lasting experiences of crane manufacture as the associated production of the former JZD (United Farm Cooperative) Jílové u Prahy already from 1965. Cranes model KIVI for farming, grab cranes, handling cranes used for storage areas and manipulation with fodder, as well as cranes for STS („State Tractor Stations“) were manufactured there. Thanks to their considerable success the cranes were supplied also for other resorts, above all, ČKD Praha, ŠKODA Praha, etc.
Development
Production of cranes has quickly expanded and in 1992, a limited liability company under a name of ADAMEC with its registered trade-mark has been established. At the beginning, cranes were manufactured in the original manufacturing shop in Nehvizdy near Prague but soon a sufficient capital was generated to build the modern production complex equipped with the latest manufacturing facilities and top technologies in Nehvizdy. We built with our own forces the highly modern shop construction. We started to reconstruct and refurbish the original manufacturing shop and installed in the free storage area a heavy-duty tower crane. We completed the construction of a covered storage-room with the bridge crane, linking up with the existing buildings.
Foremost Manufacturer
We have manufactured hundreds of cranes for our biggest enterprises. Our company has thus become in a very short time the foremost manufacturer of cranes. We continue to supply to our steady purchasers, ČKD Praha, Škoda Praha. We continuously supply explosion-proof bridge cranes for compressed gas stations throughout the entire length of the transit pipe line, from Velké Kapušany to those erected in Kralice and Kouřim, as well as the underground gas reservoir in Příbram a Dolní Dunajovice.
Significant Orders
One of the last, most significant orders have been the large-capacity , automatic bridge type grab cranes for the municipal waste incinerator, Liberec. Our manufacturing shop in Nehvizdy was so much successful that we completed the same workshop design with bridge cranes also for our other purchasers, Prakab Praha and IVECO.
Research and Development (R&D)
At present, there is no way how to talk about the R&D as an independent field, as was the case during the totalitarian regime. Innovation of products, latest computing methods, CAD have become the fact of everyday life and are continuously applied. The IT equipment is fully updated on a regular basis, minimum once a year, to enable us to keep pace with the rapid development of this industrial field. We are also continuously modernizing our manufacturing processes of the crane steel structures, crane drives, chassis, as well as their regulation.
Our subcontractors
We have supplied from the very beginning only the cranes with electric pulley blocks made by R. STAHL, Germany, because of their modern design and a high service reliability. Our engineers/technicians are trained at R. STAHL on a regular basis so that we are able to provide fast and professional services not only in respect of pulley blocks forming part of the supplies of our cranes.
